During the Frictionfiction summer break, I've been writing and recording songs (as well as writing fiction) for a CD I called Shedworks, under the band name The Hexyl Circle. The Hexyl Circle draws influences from Senegal, English folk, Britpop, Classical Modernism, and Manchester Post-Punk. Who Knows? is track 2 on the CD, and gets good reviews on Broadjam, Bebo and Myspace. I use a Sony laptop, Shure mike, Fender and Taylor guitars through Line 6 Toneport, assorted instruments, Xylo, gopichand, spinning drum, Indian flute and so on. All 13 tracks can be heard in order on http://thehexylcircle.bebo.com. At Myspace, you can hear a selection, www.myspace.com/thehexylcircle. You can download tracks at http://feeds.feedburner.com/thehexylcircle.
